Season 10 of the Intellivision Baseball League started on 5/15/23 with the Mutants beating the Beamriders 2-1 in 10 innings. The Ghosts lost their first game 1-0, then went on a four game win streak, outscoring their opponents 11-3 in those games. The Upmonsters also went 4-1 in the first half. In the Battle Network, the Deadly Dogs also started the season 4-1 with three shutouts, and the River Raiders and Armada were close behind them in the standings.

On June 8, the Upmonsters and Mutants set a record for the longest game in league history with the Upmonsters winning 2-1 in 20 innings.

Two weeks later, the Upmonsters had another 20 inning game. This one was special because the Upmonsters launched a home run in the 13th to lead 2-0. In most games, that would be a guaranteed win. However, the Bombers blasted a home run of their own, then tied the game in the bottom of the 13th. The Upmonsters dropped an RBI bunt in the 20th inning to lead 3-2 and hold on to win.

The Ghosts were inconsistent in the second half, but still stayed atop of the Action Network. The Beamriders started the second half with a three-game win streak and were fighting for first place, but they lost their last two games to end the threat.

July 18 was one of the greatest games in league history:
The Smash scored on a fielder's choice in the 2nd inning.
The Mutants tied it by scoring on a fielder's choice in the 3rd inning.
The Smash took the lead 2-1 in the 6th on an RBI single.
The Mutants hit a home run in the 7th to lead 3-2!
The Smash hit two RBI singles in the 7th to lead 4-3!!!
The Mutants get a HIT-AND-RUN BUNT RBI to tie it 4-4, then hit ANOTHER RBI SINGLE TO LEAD 5-4 IN THE 9TH!!!
The Smash tried to rally back in the bottom of the 9th but were shot down.

The River Raiders blasted off in the second half, winning four of their last five games. The Deadly Dogs ended the season on a three-game winning streak, but it wasn't enough. The two teams ended the season tied for first place, with the River Raiders becoming Battle Network Champions on a tiebreaker.

River Raiders score their 5th run

Mutants take 5-4 lead on error
The Ghosts and River Raiders had a rematch of their 2019 championship series, but this time with a very different result. The Ghosts DESTROYED the Raiders, outscoring then 12-2 in two games and winning their first league championship. Those 12 runs sets a new record for most runs scored by a team in a championship series. The previous record was 11 runs by the Beamriders in 2015, and that was in three games, not two.
